Full Stack Drupal Developer 


Boldr Strategic Consulting is currently seeking a full-stack Drupal developer familiar with front-end/theming, site building and back-end.  

As a Full Stack Drupal Developer, your day-to-day includes spending your time hands-on developing and collaborating on large scale web development projects.  A typical project involves the integration of multiple systems, drupal multisite, and custom theming.  We are particularly interested in a senior level developer who can lead projects and get their hands dirty particularly with front-end work. 

Your typical work week might include:

  • Writing technical requirements & build stories

  • Drupal site building and configuration.

  • Custom front end and theme layer development.

  • Custom module development, and the maintenance of existing custom code.

  • Documenting code and processes, and participating in peer reviews.

  • Participating in client meetings and workshops.

  • Actively contributing to the continual improvement of our processes and product.



Salary is commensurate with experience. Pay is competitive and what you’d expect for this role. This is a 100% remote role, but you must be a United States citizen.

• Available full-time (40 hours/week) during normal business hours.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Experienced working directly with clients

• Have worked in an agency environment, preferably in multiple time zones.

• Show strong problem solving abilities, intelligence, and initiative.

• Know the ins and outs of modern development workflows, including use of the command line, gitflow, containers, and dev/stage/prod environments.

• Deeply understand modern web standards and technologies.

• Have some React.js experience (this would be an awesome plus).


Technical Requirements

• 3+ years experience with Drupal, including 7 & 8 and ready to tackle Drupal 9

• 3+ years experience with PHP & custom modules.

• 2+ years experience writing modules with OOP in Drupal 8.

• 3+ years experience in front-end technologies, including the following or similar: Javascript, SCSS/LESS, Twig, Grunt/Gulp, mobile-first responsive design, etc.

• Ideally you'll have examples of Drupal themes you've written, in Drupal 7 and Drupal 8.

• Understanding of Git
